Full Studio Policies

1. Culture at Lift Pilates

At Lift Pilates, we foster a welcoming, supportive environment. While we work hard and break a sweat, we also laugh, share, and enjoy the journey. We take our workouts seriously but believe in having fun along the way.

My goal is to support you on your Pilates journey, helping you progress at your own pace. Embrace mistakes as essential learning tools, celebrate your successes, and grow through challenges. Pilates demands consistency and patience, but the rewards are well worth your time and effort.

2. General Terms & Conditions

  • Membership Fees: Charged on the day you begin and non-refundable. If you’ll be absent for a month, please notify me the week prior to avoid charges.
  • Yearly Membership Pauses: May be paused once for up to 30 days.
  • Consistent Participation Policy. At Lift Pilates, I’m committed to building a long-term, stable studio environment for both myself and my clients. To support this vision, I work with people who are ready to commit to a regular practice. I’m not able to accommodate clients who take more than six weeks off per year or who frequently stop and restart. If that’s your situation, Lift Pilates likely isn’t the right fit for you. Consistency is not only key to the success of my business—it’s also essential for your progress. A steady practice leads to meaningful results, fewer setbacks, and a stronger, more connected body.
  • Private Lessons: Charged in advance. A 24-hour cancellation notice is required; no exceptions.
  • Right to Refuse Service: I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who may not be a good fit for Lift Pilates culture or for whom my services may not be suitable.
  • Schedule and Pricing: Prices will increase at the start of each calendar year. My clients respect my fair right to continual, sustainable wage growth.
  • Holidays: Membership fees are not reduced for months containing a legal holiday.
  • Instructor Absences:
    • If I’m unable to teach, you’ll be notified by email the same day.
    • For planned training or work-related travel, advance notice will be given.
  • Sick Days: I reserve up to six (6) sick days per calendar year. These sick days are built into my business model to support the long-term consistency of the studio. Sessions missed due to my illness will not be rescheduled or refunded. Thank you for your understanding and continued commitment to your practice.
  • Vacation Time:

I reserve up to three (3) weeks of vacation per calendar year. Advance notice will be provided by email. During vacation periods, trusted keyholders will open the studio so you can continue your Open Studio practice. Sessions missed during vacation are not refundable or rescheduled.

  • Client Absences:

Clients are encouraged to attend consistently. Sessions missed due to illness, family obligations, or emergencies are not refundable and cannot be rescheduled.

If you are mildly ill or unable to attend in person, you may request to attend your scheduled Open Studio session virtually instead.

3. Missed Sessions & Cancellations

  • No Make-Ups for Missed Sessions: Missed sessions cannot be rescheduled or refunded. Your membership secures a dedicated time slot that remains unavailable to others.
  • Virtual Option: If you’re mildly ill or unable to attend in person, you may request a virtual session during your scheduled time.

4. Commitment to You

I’m committed to providing personalized, high-quality instruction to help you achieve your fitness goals.

Consistency is the key to your progress, and these policies are designed to keep us both moving forward together.
