WHAT IS THE LIFT PILATES CLASS IN OPEN STUDIO ?

The Lift Pilates class is more than just a Pilates class. It's a vibrant community where individuals like you come together to work out under my guidance. It's not a one-size-fits-all approach. Each practitioner follows their own personalized Pilates program, designed to meet their unique fitness goals. This dynamic and community-oriented setting fosters independence and requires commitment and consistency.

To join Lift Pilates, I ask that you commit to working with me at least twice a week and learning your Pilates routine so that I can provide you with valuable guidance. I've found that attending class at least twice per week is the key to mastering the Pilates method, feeling great in your body, and retaining what you learn. We can create a sense of community and enjoy ourselves while achieving your fitness goals.

WHAT IS THE LIFT PILATES CLASS?

At Lift Pilates, we ofer a unique, community-driven approach to Pilates through our open studio concept. You'll work on a personalized program at your own pace, alongside others who are on their own Pilates journeys.

I'M A BEGINNER AND I'VE NEVER DONE PILATES.

Whether you're a beginner needing more guidance or an experienced client refining your practice, I'm here to support you. This flexible, supportive environment has helped our clients see remarkable progress by allowing them to attend more frequently and grow together.

IS THE LIFT PILATES CLASS A CIRCUIT?

The Lift Pilates class is not a circuit. It is a unique exercise experience where you follow a personalized Pilates program tailored to your needs, all under my guidance and individualized coaching. This clas offers a level of customization and attention that you won't find in any other exercise class--it's truly one of a kind.

WILL EVERYONE DO THE SAME EXERCISE ON THE SAME EQUIPMENT?

At our studio, we offer the complete repertoire of classical Pilates apparatus, with multiple pieces of each type of equipment. This allows us to customize a Pilates program tailored specifically to your needs. In your initial private lesson with me, we'll work together to create a plan that aligns with your goals and abilities, ensuring you get the mot out of every session.

WILL I NEED TO MEMORIZE MY WORKOUT?

Over time you will find that you will naturally start to remember your personalized Pilates program as you become more confident in your routine. But don't worry--I’ll be there to guide you every step of the way. You will also have your Pilates program outlined on an exercise card, which you will find yourself relying on less and less as you progress.

IS THE LIFT PILATES CLASS FOR EVERYONE?

The Lift Pilates Class is designed for those who are truly committed to learning the original Pilates method as Joseph Pilates intended. This isn't a cookie-cutter workout--it's a personalized approach that requires dedication and a willingness to invest in your own progress. While it's not for everyone, those who embrace the challenge will experience the authentic and transformative power of Pilates.

WHAT IF I HAVE INJURIES?

We will absolutely work around your injuries. Many of my clients come to me with various conditioins, such as back pain, shoulder strain, or post-surgical recovery. Pilates is incredibly adabtable, and we'll tailor your program to ensure you can continue to move and strengthen your body safely. Even with recent injuries, and my own experience with a broken toe and minor surgery, it's important to keep moving and focus on what you can do. Your safety and progress are my top priorities.

HOW MANY PRIVATE LESSONS WILL I NEED BEFORE JOINING?

To join my Lift Pilates Class, I recommend completing my Intro Offer, which includes one full hour private lesson, a half-hour private lesson, and one month of unlimited Lift Pilates classes. After your first private lesson, you can begin attending Lift Pilates classes. I've found that starting with this foundation is the best way to begin your Pilates journey--sometimes the best way to learn is to just jump right in.

HOW LONG HAVE YOU TAUGHT PILATES?

I’ve been teaching Pilates for over 20 years, with experience in group reformer classes, group mat classes, contemporary Pilates, and thousands of Private lessons. Through this journey, I've discovered that the open studio format of my Lift Pilates Class is the most effective way to help you to develop a Pilates body tailored to your individual needs. There's no better way to fully embrace the original method and establish a consistent, personalized practice that supports you throughout your wellness journey.

Terms & Conditions

  • Culture at Lift Pilates

    • The experience at Lift Pilates is both welcoming and supportive. While you'll work hard and break a sweat, we will also make time to laugh and share with one another. We're serious about our workouts, but we beileve in having fun along the way. My goal is to support each of you on your Pilates journey, helping you progress at your own pace. I encourage you to take your time and make mistakes--they are an essetial part of learning. Celebrate your successes and grow from the challenges, knowing that theses experiences are what drive real change and success. Pilates demands consistency and patience, but the rewards are well worth your time and effort.
  • General Terms & Conditions

    • Membership Fees are charged on Sundays and are non-refundable. If you will be gone for a week, just let me know a few days before so I can pull the charge. If you're going to miss a day, you can make it up another time.
    • Private Lessons are charged before the scheduled lesson, and I require a 24-hour notice to cancel; sorry, there are no exceptions).
    • I reserve the right to refuse service to anyone I feel won't be a good fit for LP culture or for whom I won't be a good service fit.
    • I reserve the right to alter my schedule as needed.
    • I reserve the right to increase my prices.
    • Membership fees are not reduced for weeks where a legal holiday falls despite running a day (etc.) short.
    • Infrequently, I need to travel for work/training, and it may mean I need to cancel some sessions or a day of work. It is also fair workplace practice that people can take sick leave and still feel safe in receiving a wage. Sometimes I am traveling for work, or I am sick and require time off from running sessions. In these rare instances, I do not offer a refund for days missed, however:
    • If you miss a workout because I'm off, sick, or away, I'm happy for you to make it up another time.
    • I will try to keep disruptions to a minimum. Still, these practices are fair and follow the purported values of our society.
    • I will email you the day of if I'm sick and won't be able to teach a session.
    • I will email you if I'm required to travel for a workshop.
    • I also understand that you may miss sessions due to illness, legal holidays, family issues, etc., and I'm happy for you to make up these sessions at a future date.
    • MEMBERSHIPS
  • I have 2 simple membership options available:
  • Unlimited Lift Pilates Classes/Open Studio Sessions per month (both include one (1) half hour private lesson every month to tune up your program)
  • $437/month (requires a 1 year commitment; 1 freeze per year, up to one month; or $537/ month to month
