Pilates is a mind-body exercise based on three guiding principles: whole body health, whole body commitment, and breath. Using a mat or specialized apparatus, Pilates practitioners improve flexibility and posture while building core strength and toning their entire body. Pilates helps develop long, lean, strong and flexible muscles and smooth, movable joints.
